Some things we've done |
September 24, 2011 we hosted a poker run to benefit our buddy Sarah, who was involved in a car v. bike collision. Money raised went to help cover her medical expenses. Many thanks go out to the fine folks who joined us for the run, and the businesses that supported our efforts. Sunday, May 23rd 2010, we rode along with 50 or so other bikers on a nation wide Motorcycle Awareness Ride. The Seattle route took us around Lake Washington on I-5 and I-405. We followed the speed limit and rode with respect for the other vehicles that were on the road that day. This ride was inspired by a series of lethal accidents, including one in Phoenix, AZ where a group of bikers was stopped at a light and were rear ended by a truck, killing four and critically injuring five others. |
